  • Prešeren Day, Slovenian Cultural Holiday

    The Slovenian Cultural Holiday will be marked by an official state ceremony including the presentation of Prešeren Prizes, the country's most prestigious cultural awards, and many other cultural events held over a period of a few days before 8 February. On Prešeren Day, there will be free admission to Ljubljana's museums and galleries, several concerts, theatre performances and film screenings, and a number of other events.

  • Sergei S. Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet - ballet

    Romeo and Juliet, an immortal tragedy about a couple of lovers in Verona written by William Shakespeare in 1593, is one of the most famous love stories ever written.
