Accommodation and guided tours in Ljubljana

Ljubljana provides a good range of accommodation facilities of all categories and types, currently totalling to around 1,870 hotel rooms (beginning of year 2008).

Additional units are available in pensions, bed & breakfast, tourist apartments, youth and student hostels, and private rooms. The total number of properties in the city that are officially designated as hotels is 17, out of which one is a 5-star, 7 are four-star, 7 are 3-star and 2 are budget.

Ljubljana Tourism tourist guide service

The Ljubljana Tourism conducts guided tours within the Municipality of Ljubljana. Its register of local tourist guides includes officially licensed guides fully qualified to run tours of Ljubljana. Apart from a general walking tour and several other regular scheduled city tours, a large number of customized tours of Ljubljana are available to larger organized groups by prior arrangement with the Ljubljana Tourism.

At the moment, expert guidance is available in 17 different languages including Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian, Serbian, Spanish and Turkish. Prior arrangement is required.

Scheduled city tours - pricelist for groups

• €50.00 for groups of up to 5 people
• €60.00 for groups of up to 10 people
• €80.00 for groups of up to 35 people
• €110.00 for groups of up to 50 people

Notes

• Each additional hour of sightseeing costs an extra €27.00.
• The tour operator reserves the right to charge a waiting fee of €16.00 per hour.
• A 25 percent supplement is charged for tours run on the day of booking.
• 50 percent of the tour price must be paid in case of cancellation within less than 24 hours before the agreed departure time.
