Description
Dol pri Ljubljani's centrally located Parochial Church of St. Margaret was built earlier than the Dol Manor. It was first mentioned in 1262 as a vicariate church affiliated to one of the ancient parish of Mengeš's succursal churches. A written record dated 1427 mentions its successor. The present church, rebuilt in the Baroque style to a design by Matija Persky, dates to 1753.
